Aftercare: the first 24 hours

For 24 hours: skip hot showers (cool to lukewarm only), skip workouts, skip cologne or perfume on the waxed zone, and skip turtlenecks or anything tight against the back of the neck. Cotton t-shirts and an open collar are ideal.

Starting day 2, exfoliate gently with a mild glycolic body wash 2 to 3 times per week to prevent ingrown hairs. This is especially important on the back of the neck where the curved skin and sweat make ingrowns more common.
